Soteira's Inbox · free · on your phone

Paste any email.
She'll show you every string on it.

The pressure pattern it's running, the feeling it presses on, where the links really go, and the one thing it wants you to do. Read in a second, on your device, with no connection needed. The page has no ads or trackers, and it tells your browser to block it from sending anything out.

🔒How it stays private. The reading runs in this page's own code, on your phone. There is no account, and the page loads nothing from anyone else: no ads, no trackers, no outside scripts or fonts. Its security rules tell your browser to refuse any attempt to send data out. Reads you keep are stored only in this browser, below, and you can wipe them.

SOTEIRA

Do this, not that

    The strings

    What it's pressing on

    The ask

    Under the hood

    The shape of it

    Who it says it's from

    Where the links really go

What this can't see. It reads words and addresses, not intentions. A clean read means no strings were visible, not that the sender is safe — a real account can be hijacked, and a scammer can own a real domain. It cannot open links, check attachments for malware, or know your history with a sender. The habit that beats everything it catches and everything it misses is the same: close the email and verify through a route you find yourself.

    Put Soteira on your phone

Installed, she opens from your home screen, works with no signal, and on Android she shows up in the Share sheet of your mail app — open any email, tap Share, pick Soteira, and the read is instant.

    Android (Chrome)
    1. Tap the ⋮ menu → Add to Home screen (or Install app).
    2. In Gmail or any mail app, open an email → ⋮ → Share (some apps: Forward → copy the text) → choose Soteira.
    iPhone (Safari)
    1. Tap the Share icon → Add to Home Screen.
    2. iPhone mail apps don't share into web apps. Open the email → select all → copy, open Soteira, tap Paste from clipboard.
Get the raw source (the strongest read)
    1. Gmail (web): open the email → ⋮ → Show original → Copy to clipboard.
    2. Outlook: open the email → ⋯ → View → View message source.
    3. Apple Mail: View → Message → Raw Source.
    4. Raw source carries the Authentication-Results line — SPF, DKIM and DMARC — which tells her whether the sending server was really allowed to use that domain.

    What she reads for

    1. The six strings from the Field Guide: Authority Deference, Consensus Pull, Urgency Reflex, Disclosure Drift, Identity Hooks, Commitment Momentum.
    2. The lever — fear, reward, guilt, flattery, curiosity, romance, shame, outrage, pity — and how loud the message is shouting.
    3. The ask — click, code, password, money, gift cards, crypto, call-this-number, remote access, secrecy, channel-switch, QR code.
    4. Under the hood — display name vs. real domain, look-alike and padded domains, Reply-To swaps, SPF/DKIM/DMARC, link text vs. destination, shorteners, raw IPs, risky attachments, invisible characters.
    5. The shape — the con triangle (a feeling + a clock + an ask), steering you away from checking, asking for what the sender should already know, the boss-in-a-hurry pattern. Shape catches the ones that don't have a name yet.
    6. Orders aimed at your software — hidden text telling an assistant to call the email safe or forward your mail. Soteira treats every email as data, never as a command.
